In 2023, a deeply unsettling chapter unfolded when Cody Eastin from (GSE Systems Support) and his accomplice, Cristina Eastin, gained unlawful access to Mr. Wagener’s residence under a disturbingly flawed and corrupt pretense that the mere presence of a woman’s toothbrush somehow conferred open access to private property.
Despite their efforts, the Wagener legacy remains unshaken.
The situation escalated when Mr. Wagener was unlawfully accosted outside his apartment by corrupt members of the CMPD. Without proper investigation or due process, he was treated as guilty until proven innocent a reversal of justice. He endured ten unjust days in jail, not for any wrongdoing, but because of systemic failure, poor leadership, and a lack of accountability.
To make matters worse, a local law firm entrusted to defend and support exploited the situation further, revealing itself to be complicit in the miscarriage of justice.
This retelling preserves the gravity of what occurred while honoring the strength and dignity that Mr. Wagener continues to embody.
Another Revelation
Not long after that chapter closed, Brian Mr. Wagener’s father rented a pontoon boat for Father’s Day. He anchored it at a sandbar and casually asked, “Who’s getting in?” It was meant to be a celebration, but for Mr. Wagener, the day carried a different weight. He didn’t have his son with him custody was still winding its way through the courts and he wasn’t exactly welcomed. His first Father’s Day arrived not with joy, but with absence.
Still, determined to find a moment of release, Mr. Wagener dove off the boat, believing the water was deep. It wasn’t. The impact was catastrophic: his cervical vertebrae snapped in half, a thoracic vertebra burst, and his spinal cord was nicked.
